Fresh Hemp Foods Ltd., dba Manitoba Harvest Hemp Foods & Oils has secured a new round of growth and working capital financing from White Road Investments and Avrio Ventures. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Manitoba Harvest will use the funds to strengthen all aspects of the supply chain to better meet the growing demand for hemp foods.
Founded in 1998, Manitoba Harvest Hemp Foods & Oils is the world’s largest vertically-integrated hemp food manufacturer and the only HACCP certified hemp food manufacturer.
In April 2009, Manitoba Harvest closed a Series A round of financing with Avrio and raised additional Capital from Avrio in 2010.
