The hemp seed

America’s first marijuana law was enacted in 1619 and it ordered all farmers to grow hemp seed.

The primary reason for war by America against Great Britain in 1812 was for access to Russian Cannabis hemp.

The hemp seed was so important to our country, that Thomas Jefferson smuggled hemp seed out of China at a time when it was a capital offense to do so.

In 1935, 116 million pounds of hemp seed was used in America for varnish and paint production.

Prior to 1937 there were more than 10 million acres of seed-laden cannabis hemp growing wild in the U.S.

In 1937 The U.S. sold four million pounds of hempseed as bird seed, and was the world’s number one bird seed.

In 1942 the U.S. government distributed 400,000 pounds of cannabis seeds to American farmers who produced 42,000 tons of hemp fiber annually until 1946 when the war ended.

Hemp seed is a cholesterol-lowering source of full protein and the most complete single food source for human nutrition.

Cannabis hemp seeds contain all the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids necessary to maintain healthy life. The hemp seed is the plant kingdom’s richest source of life-giving essential fatty acid, and may someday be the cure for cancer and heart disease. Hemp seeds lubricate the arteries and are vital to the immune system and guard against viral and other insults to the immune system.

You can make milk with sprouted hemp seeds. This milk can be used to make delicious and nutritious ice creams that actually lower cholesterol levels.

Hemp seed can also be ground to make a nutritional breakfast cereal.

Hemp seed oil is among the lowest in saturated fats and is the highest in total essential fatty acids. These essential fatty acids are responsible for our immune response systems.

For several decades now, our government has engaged in a campaign of misinformation to keep marijuana illegal. In 1998 the U.S. asked the United Nations to outlaw cannabis in all forms.

It is a felony to grow the most nutritional seed on earth. Go figure!

The facts used in this letter are from the book “The Emperor Wears No Clothes” by Jack Herer. Jack spent years researching facts for his book. There is a $100,000 challenge to the world to prove Jack’s facts to be wrong. As of yet, no one has been able to do that.
