INDUSTRIAL HEMP MIGHT HELP BRING PROFIT AND ANOTHER LOW-INPUT ROTATIONAL CROP

Industrial hemp is starting to make a comeback after decades of prohibition because of its cannabis cousin marijuana.  The 2014 Farm Bill allowed for limited growth and study of industrial hemp.  Minnesota, North Dakota and Kentucky are just three states where hemp is being planted.  Wisconsin lawmakers are considering the issue now.
Katie Moyer from Kentucky and seed dealer Ken Anderson recently testified before a Wisconsin Senate Ag Committee hearing and talked to Brownfield after the hearing.
