While Bootyland has been open for 16 years, current owner Ellie Cassidy is celebrating 11 years at the helm, with the Eleven Celebration on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
“After 11 years, we still find ourselves saying we are have the most awesome customers ever,” Cassidy enthuses. “It has been a pleasure to see such colorful and innovative families grow over the years.”
Bootyland was the first store in Seattle to focus on organic and hemp baby and kids' clothes, and the shop has recently expanded its inventory to include clothing for adults by local and regional designers. The Eleven Celebration is a kids' fashion show and party with DJ’d music, vegetarian snacks, fun activities like henna tattoos and face painting, and a joyful celebration of this vital shop.
